In the post-XP versions of Windows, UAC is enabled by default. Third, if I run the Web browser with elevated permissions, the error message does not display, and everything works just fine. Under that second Windows account, when I visited a site with Unity content, an error message displayed indicating that there was a newer version of the web player plugin available and that it failed to automatically update. I logged out of that Windows account and logged into another Windows account. Under one Windows account, I ran the web player setup with elevated permissions and with the /AllUsers switch. Also, I just tried the /AllUsers switch, which seemingly works but I believe may actually be broken.
